Beginners’ archery course running on the 21st of April and 28th of April 2024. All archers must be aged 8 years or over, and any archer under the age of 18 must have a responsible adult present at all times.

This is a two day beginners course in archery, being held at the Washlands Sports Club in Burton on Trent.

Clothing
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear (ideally warm and close fitting). This is an outdoor course, so waterproofs may be necessary depending on the weather.

Equipment
We will provide all the equipment you need for the course which is run by qualified Archery GB coaches. At the conclusion of the course you will be given the opportunity to join the Archery Club, subject to the discretion of the Committee.

Please Note
The course is open to anyone aged 8 or over. All juniors (under 18) must have a parent/guardian present at all times (this person can be on the course as well).

How to Measure your Arm Span
Using the picture below as a guide, measure the distance from finger tip to finger tip. Please do not over stretch when measuring, just extend your arms out to make the “T” shape below:
